Story of Transformation: Muniba Mazari

Often called the iron lady of Pakistan, Muniba Mazari was left paralyzed after an accident from the hip down. She was only 21. After being bedridden for two years, she was not only in pain, but also lost her marriage and discovered she could never have a child.

Rather than allowing herself to be defeated, Muniba began to paint her feelings. She started painting the positive energy she felt within her. She is now a global artist, motivational speaker, and UN Women National Ambassador. Muniba’s journey shows that while our bodies may be limited, our spirit and creativity are not.
